My Life's Meaning
Everybody in this world is unique, each leading their lives with their own set of principals and beliefs. As for myself, my principal is to be realistic and excel in whatever i do.
Education is obviously highly emphasised in Singapore and this fast paced society has trained me to be realistic. There is no room for dreaming and results mean everything. Without an advanced academic certificate, it will be difficult to get a high paying job which is important when the cost of living is so high. Thus from young, i tried to perform well in my studies and eventually i had this 'Winning' mindset integrated.
During my national service, i managed to get into the the Officer Cadet School and was further trained to excel. As reflected in our slogan, "To Lead, To Excel and To Overcome."
While we are busy fighting in this urban jungle, we should never neglect our family and love ones. Just think about it, how will this world be without them?

Thanks, Brandon, for this post that shows clearly how you view the world around you and your place in it.
Hey,I think the colour and picture your page is cool~
I really envy that guys in Singapore can have their National Service.....a meaningful experience!
:)
Yes, I agree. In this competitive world, we have to be realistic. We cannot sit there and get what we want. We have to try our best, to overcome the difficulties and to get the results, even though sometimes the results will let us down.
Sometimes, we will comfort ourselves, saying” process is more important than the results”. To some extent, yes. But when we are enjoying the process, we have to try our best, to fight for our goals and to excel.
PS: your blog is very nice!!!
PARTIALLY AGREE.
Virtually, being realistic is key to survive in the harsh reality. No one could ever indulge himself in daydreams and then get expected outcomes. However, it's also quite important to keep our passion and challenge ourselves and that it provides greater likelihood of excelling oneself.
hey, first of all,i agree with everyone else that your blog is very nice. It surprised me of how interesting a blogpage can be,and you surprised me even more with your perspective of life. I like your point of view, but i would life to make a gentle suggestion, instead of being realistic all the time, why not try to leave some room for wildness and dreams?after all, whats life without enthusiasm, rite?wih you luck bro..
